A few thoughts on terms:

Why do people continue using "ATM machine" and "irregardless" when everyone, including themselves, knows it's wrong?

What does "same exact" denote that "same" and "exact" alone do not?

Why do people use "elect" when they mean "choose"?

Why do people who pride themselves on AP fluency fail to hyphenate their compound adjectives?

Why won't people realize that "alot" is not a word and that "awhile" means "for a while"?
